The Independent Nigerian Electoral Commission says it will begin publishing presidential and parliamentary election results on Sunday.
On Sunday, the electoral commission announced it will open the collation centers, which will aggregate and review results from the country's 36 states and Abuja.
"There may not be another opportunity to update Nigerians between now and tomorrow," Mahmood Yakubu, the commission's chairman, said during a press conference in Abuja. "But, if necessary, we will make an announcement before we open the collation center tomorrow."
