Bode Geroge denies saying INEC chairman met Tinubu in Lagos

Bode George, a former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has refuted claims that Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, the INEC chairman, met with Bola Tinubu in Lagos.

According to rumors in circulation, the electoral head arrived in Lagos aboard a private plane owned by the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, and flew out of Lagos on Sunday morning.

Sunday night, George responded to the assertion, saying it "must have sprung from deranged people" and that it was an attempt to confuse the political system.

Naira redesign: Old, new notes are legal tender – CBN reveals

As of Monday night, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared collated results in 20 states.
